Our goal
Cognitive accessibility first: Easy Read text, pictures, reading tools and Hindi. Technical conformance target: WCAG 2.2 Level AA, GIGW 3.0 and IS 17802.
Status
The site was rebuilt on 22 September 2026 to these targets: semantic HTML, heading order, skip links, keyboard operation, visible focus, 44-pixel targets, colour pairs checked against WCAG AA (the previous green failed and was replaced), no autoplay, reduced-motion respected, text resizable to 30 px, reflow at 400%. A full audit (automated and manual, with screen readers in English and Hindi) is scheduled for October 2026 and its table will be published here.
