Easy Read
Look at the top of the screen.
There is a black bar with buttons.
These buttons help you read.
The website remembers your choices.
A+ and A−
Makes the letters bigger or smaller.
High contrast and Yellow on black
Changes the colours so words are easier to see. Choose the one that is better for your eyes.
More space
Puts more space between letters and lines. Some people find this easier.
Focus ruler
A yellow band follows your mouse or the thing you have selected. It helps you keep your place.
Easy Read only
Hides the long text. Shows only the Easy Read part of the page.
Read aloud and Slow
The computer reads the page to you. The words being read turn yellow. Press again to stop. “Slow” makes the voice slower. Some pages also have a “Listen to this part” button.
हिन्दी / English
Changes the language. The Hindi pages are written in Hindi Easy Read, not translated by a machine.
