You get a real certificate at the end.

Easy Read Foundations: the Sahaj Standard

For teachers, special educators, government and bank staff, hospital teams and NGOs. Read four free modules. After each one, answer 8 questions. You need 6 of 8 to pass. You can try again as many times as you like.

Pass all four and claim your certificate, issued by Manovikas Institute of Higher Education. It states exactly what you did: four self-paced modules with knowledge checks. It is not a CRE certificate; CRE points come only from the RCI-approved workshop.

Claim your certificate

Easy Read Practitioner

For people who will produce Easy Read for others. You need the Foundations certificate. You convert a real passage into Easy Read. Our Lab team marks it against the Sahaj Standard. Then three members of the Manbhavan panel check whether they understand it. They are paid for this work.

If they understand it, you receive the Practitioner certificate and your name can be listed as a Sahaj Practitioner. Opens with the workshop in the first week of December 2026.
